Shipping Information

How do I place a Domestic Order?
We can ship to almost any location within the United States and Canada! There are some restrictions that apply, so please review our comprehensive shipping details.

What is my Total Delivery Time?
The delivery time for your order depends on the shipping method you select. We offer several different shipping methods. Some of these choices, however, are limited depending on:

  1. The quantity of items purchased
  2. The in-stock availability of the product
  3. The destination address

Each shipping method has its own restrictions and charges that will be applied to your order, and are based upon a simple calculation of order processing time and actual shipping time in business days. Please note that business days are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm PST, excluding Federal holidays within the United States and/or Canada.

 

Calculating estimated shipping dates is based on several factors, including your destination address. The typical delivery time for most non-expedited shipments within the North America is 7 to 10 business days.

  • Orders received after 2:00 pm EST in the distribution system, will begin processing the following business day.
  • Delivery Times for Pre-Order Items are based upon the release date.

Calculating your Delivery Date: Pre-Order Items
Pre-Order items are available for purchase on the SafetyMate, Inc. website in advance of our general public release date. Pre-Order items are shipped directly to you shortly after the product arrives and you will be notified of your order status via email. You will not be charged for any item until it is shipped to you. Please note, expedited shipment requests will be processed first when product arrives; however, does not guarantee when the order will arrive at its final shipping destination. Release dates may vary based on unforeseen circumstances.

 

How much will my Shipping Costs be?
At Checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). Please note; some shipments can only be shipped with certain carriers and we reserve the right to make such adjustments (such as, PO Box deliveries and so forth). Final shipping costs are determined by:

  1. The destination address
  2. The shipping method you select.

Your estimated total shipping will be calculated automatically during Checkout prior to the completion of your order.

Shipping costs for orders are estimated based on an average flat rate cost which is subject to final adjustments.

 

For example, an order containing multiple quantities typically receives a volume-shipping discount. This means your total shipping and handling cost may be lower than the sum of individual shipping charges appearing in your shopping cart. However, final shipping costs may also be higher based on the destination address, carrier adjustments, corrections and so forth.

 

SafetyMate, Inc. reserves the right to credit and/or charge your account for future carrier adjustments, including but not limited to, address corrections, failed delivery, fuel surcharges, lift gates and so forth deemed necessary to complete a delivery by the carrier.

How can I get my Items to Arrive Faster?
You will be given the option of selecting 1 of 4 different shipping options during Checkout:

  • Standard Ground
  • Third Day
  • Second Day
  • Next Day

All you need to do is click the delivery method that best suits your needs. It is important to note that you still need to calculate the "Order Processing Time" when determining the total delivery time. For details on the calculation, please click here.

 

If I request Expedited Shipping, when will I receive my order?
Orders received in our system prior to 12:00 pm EST will be processed and shipping for expedited delivery the same day depending on the method requested. If you miss this timeline, your order will be processed that day but may not ship out until the next business day. Also, please note that there are no weekend pick-ups or deliveries so you will need to take that into consideration as well.

 

Are there any Rules and Restrictions I should know about?
Please be aware of the following in order to assist you with your shipping selections and needs:

  • Orders are shipped on business days only (Monday through Friday) excluding federal holidays within the United States and/or Canada.
  • Your order must be received and your credit card authorized by 2:00 pm EST or your order will not be processed until the following business day.
  • Third Day, Second Day and Next Day orders require a physical street address.
  • Items shipped to the following destinations may only be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service and cannot be expedited:
    • PO Boxes in United States and Canada
    • APO/FPO
    • US Territories (including Puerto Rico)

How do I Track my Order?
Tracking numbers are electronically assigned to packages by our carriers immediately upon shipping. Orders providing an email address will receive an email from our carrier with tracking number(s). However, it is possible that it may take up to 48 hours or longer before the carrier’s tracking system is updated. This basically means that even though your package has left our warehouse, the carrier may not be able to provide any information about your package for up to 48 hours or more.

 

Orders placed on the SafetyMate, Inc. website may be delivered by one of several different carriers and shipping methods, therefore, tracking availability may vary depending on:

  1. The quantity of product you purchased
  2. The shipping method you selected during Checkout
  3. The carrier that is delivering your product(s).

Occasionally, orders are delivered via a carrier that does not offer the ability to track a package. In these rare instances, SafetyMate, Inc. nor the carrier’s website will offer tracking information; however, we will still offer order status and other details by phone, if requested.
